Abstract: The relationship between the polymorphic marker VNTR (rs5787598) circadian gene PER3 at risk for essential hypertension and coronary heart disease among residents of the Republic of Karelia. It is shown that the frequency of alleles and genotypes in patients and EH in the control group did not differ significantly. Also found no significant difference between the group of patients with genotypes and the control group at the level of lipids. There is association of polymorphic variant VNTR (rs5787598) gene PER3 the level of triacylglycerols in patients suffering from CAD and EAH.
