Quantum approaches relying, e.g., on entanglement, have been proposedas a tool to increase the efficiency of optical measurements. In particular polarimetry, which requires at least four polarization measurements, can be done in onemeasurement with an entangled state. Here we consider classical beams of light thatpossess quantum-like properties such as inseparability. We show that the use of suchclassicalentanglement for polarimetrycanbring an outstandingadvantage, comparableto the one of a quantum state, over classical measurements.PACS numbers: 03.65.Ud, 41.20.-q, 42.25.Ja
