Abstract: The role of mathematical tasks with the regional contents for formation of the universal educational actions in the course of training in mathematics of pupils of 5-6 classes reveals in the article. The universal educational actions are a psychological component of the modern education. Personal, regulatory, cognitive, communicative universal educational actions have metaobject character and provide continuity of all steps of education. Use of mathematical tasks with the regional contents for formation of the universal educational actions allows pupils to understand an educational task (learning of a formula or drawing up the equation), to organize educational work (for reading of the accompanying information to a task, for selectio n of the contents to the solution of a task), to show independence (by drawing up a task of the available regional information), to make and realize the plan of study, that is form readiness of pupils self-contained to study, solve the major biotic and professional problems and in the end result define effectiveness of educational process.
