Abstract: CONCLUSIONS: This is the first study to examine the expression of four B7 immune checkpoints in cancer.The data provide strong evidence of HHLA2 and B7x expression by human urothelial cell carcinoma.We observed regionally distinct and non-overlapping staining of ligands in this experiment, supporting the concept that urothelial tumors may require sequential or simultaneous inhibition of multiple distinct ligands in order to achieve maximum therapeutic benefit.
