Abstract: The purpose of this paper is construction of model that predicts sightseeing spot visitor number while considering its modal split. The model developed here has two characteristics: First of all, the fundamental concept of this model is based on the OD estimation model of gravity model type, and the distance resistance used here is defined as parallel composition resistance in electric current circuit. The second characteristic is that Poisson regression method is applied as parameter estimation method. In this paper, comparison with the developed method about distance resistance and a method by simply weighted average is analyzed, and, subsequently, the method is applied to estimate a quantity of sightseeing traffic by used mode.
