Abstract: patients (76%) who underwent TT showed stable disease (SD) or response (PR or CR) by at least 1 targeted agent.Median OS of these 33 patients was 22.4 months.OS was significantly longer in patients undergoing TT (22.5 months) than those not undergoing TT (5.6 months) (p¼0.0043).Furthermore, median OS of patients who experienced SD or response using TT was 34.5 months.Median OS of patients who had durable SD (>12 months) using a single targeted agent (n¼7) was 43.1 months.Disease control rate (DCR) of sunitinib in the first-line setting was 77.8% (CR, 1 patient; PR, 1; SD, 5; and PD, 2).DCR in the second-line setting was 62.5%.DCR of sorafenib was 50%, and 2/10 patients using sorafenib had durable SDs (20 and 24 months).DCR of axitinib was 50%, and 2/6 patients using axitinib had durable SDs (14 and 14 months).Few patients among those using temsirolimus (DCR, 54.5%) and everolimus (DCR, 50%) had SD of >8 months.CONCLUSIONS: A significant number of tumors diagnosed as PRCC in each institute was categorized into other histological types.Prognosis of patients with mPRCC appeared to be improved by the sequential use of TT.
