Abstract: In the previous debate article in this issue, endocrinologists Sally Thrower and Bushra Ahmad asked whether intervention with testosterone replacement therapy is appropriate to reverse the effects of ageing in men. Consultant in Sexual Medicine Geoff Hackett responds here by providing evidence from guidelines outlining the beneficial effects of testosterone for hypogonadal men.
