Abstract: Graphene-based nanomaterials,due to their unique structure and excellent mechanical,optical and electrical properties and have been widely exploited in physics,chemistry and materials science and other fields. Emerging trends show that their exceptional properties can be exploited for biomedical applications,especially in drug delivery and gene delivery. we will review recent advances in graphene-based nanomaterials for drug delivery and gene delivery,finally the existing problems of the graphene nanomaterials in the biomedical field are pointed out.
