Advance in myeloid-derived suppressor cells and immune mechanisms of liver disease

Year: 2011
Type: article
Abstract: Myeloid-derived suppressor cells(MDSCs) are a group of heterogeneous cells that have not fully differentiated ard could suppress bone marrow-derived immune response. The function of MDSCs in tumor immunosuppression is currently a hot topic. In recent years, researches concerning immune inhibition of MDSCs in non-neoplastic diseases are increased. It is important to understand the role myeloid derived suppressor cells playing in the immune system.
