Study design: Observational Study
Abstract: This study describes a survey of undergraduate students at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. The survey was conducted to determine the frequency of library use and source selection of undergraduate students. Demographics had little effect on library use and source selection. Two variables explain a student's library use, the student's parents' education and the level of promotion the library receives from the faculty. A student's choice of sources was independent of any variable in the study.
