Cost Prediction of Highway Bridge in Mountain Area Based on BP Neural Networks

Abstract: The BP network modeling and fuzzy mathematics method were combined to predict construction cost of bridge in mountain express by the parameters of bridge′s engineering characteristics.The result from filtering mountain express construction cost data by fuzzy mathematics method was regarded as training samples of the BP neural network,and the complex non-linear mapping between construction characteristics of bridge in mountain express and cost was then achieved by three layers feed-forward of the BP neural network algorithm,and the prediction model of bridge cost was obtained.The good result is achieved when the prediction model is used to bridge engineering.
