Abstract: OutputThe system layout is shown in tig. 1. VME systems and is completely decoupled from the run control system running on the VAX.from a VAX cluster. It should be emphasised that the data acquisition control is intemal to the onwards, all the readout is built in VME.The control of the acquisition system is performed between the front ends and the VME readout system. From the foot of the front end electronics on those requirements.A common hardware interface has been detined for all sub-detectors been constructed ir1 a variety of systems including CAMAC, FASTBUS and VME, depending the demands of the trigger and is specific to the requirements of each sub-detector.It has on VMEbus [4].The front-end readout electronics has been custom built in order to service lined, data-driven system, with distributed intelligence and a high degree of parallelism based To provide a high bandwidth system with low overheads, we have designed a fully pipe 1.5 to 2.5 Kb with readout rates approaching 700 events per second.decisions with decision times varying from 60 ns to 25 ps [3].Typical event sizes range fromThe trigger system has been built using custom electronics to provide various levels of cascadingThe CPLEAR experiment [1][2] uses a beam of antiprotons, with fluxes in excess of 106 / sec.
