Abstract: THE INFLUENCE OF THE INTRODUCTION of a health care delivery system on mortality due to cardiovascular diseases (CVD) in Campbell County, Tenn., was explored in this study. (Cardiovascular diseases include diseases of the heart (excluding rheumatic fever) -hypertensive heart and renal diseases, ischemic heart diseases, hypertension, cerebrovascular accidents, arteriosclerosis, and other diseaes of arteries, arterioles, and capillaries.)
