Carbon Nanotubes: Enhanced Uniformity and Area Scaling in Carbon Nanotube–Fullerene Bulk‐Heterojunction Solar Cells Enabled by Solvent Additives (Adv. Energy Mater. 2/2016)
Year: 2016
Type: article
Abstract: Carbon nanotube solar cells possess unique near-infrared absorption and high environmental stability, but processing challenges have limited their size and scalability. In article number 1501466, Mark Hersam and co-workers use the solvent additive 1,8-diiodooctane to improve the morphology of carbon nanotube-fullerene bulk-heterojunction solar cells, enabling a 50-fold increase in lateral area without compromising photovoltaic performance.
