[Successful RF ablation in a patient with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation induces by atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia].

Abstract: We describe a case of 47-year old patient with frequent episodes of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (PAF) with fast ventricular rate. During electrophysiological study an atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia (AVNRT) was diagnosed with rapid degeneration into atrial fibrillation. Successful RF ablation of slow pathway was performed. There were no PAF recurrences during six months follow-up.
