Abstract: (Cell Reports 7, 1849–1857; June 26, 2014) In the originally published version of this paper, the mitomycin C concentration units in Figures 1, 3, and 4 were incorrect. In all cases, the concentration unit nM should’ve been indicated as ng/ml. Conclusions drawn from these data and of the paper are not altered by this correction. The authors regret this error and apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused.Figure 3The A-G-20 and C-E-F Modules Exhibit Nonredundant Functions in the Chromatin Recruitment of the FA Core Complex and Resistance to Crosslink DamageView Large Image Figure ViewerDownload Hi-res image Download (PPT)Figure 4FANCM Functions Epistatically with the C-E-F Module in FA Core Complex Chromatin AssociationView Large Image Figure ViewerDownload Hi-res image Download (PPT) Modularized Functions of the Fanconi Anemia Core ComplexHuang et al.Cell ReportsJune 5, 2014In BriefHuang et al. identify three functional modules in the Fanconi anemia (FA) core complex. The FANCL-FANCB-FAAP100 catalytic module is essential for the E3 ligase function, disruption of which leads to total loss of the core complex function. The FANCA-FANCG-FAAP20 and FANCC-FANCE-FANCF modules provide nonredundant and ancillary functions supporting the chromatin/DNA damage association of the catalytic module. The modularized assembly of the FA core complex reveals that FA core genes have diverse functions in activating the FA pathway. Full-Text PDF Open Access
