Abstract: The siphonapteran fauna of the Kingdom of Afghanistan is dis- cussed, based on collections made by the W. S. and J. K. Street- Field Museum of Natural History Expedition to that country in 1965.Pertinent literature dealing with the flea fauna of the country is reviewed.Keys to the families, subfamilies, genera, subgenera, and species are included.Each species, whether collected during the expedition or only recorded in the literature, is discussed and a list of the material collected is included at the end of each section.
