(英文) The survey was conducted on students' experiences in library use and the library instruction they have received through their library use. The students were studying "Information service" in the department of liberal arts at Hokuriku Gakuin junior college. The results clearly show that the students use libraries relatively well, whereas most of them have not received sufficient library instruction and lack the fundamental knowledge about how to use libraries. This paper looks into students' views of libraries and librarians based on their library use experiences and reviews the meaning of library instruction.
