Scalable Production of Digitally Designed Multifunctional Polymeric Particles by In-Fiber Fluid Instabilities

Abstract: By exploiting fluid instabilities in multimaterial fibers, we present a fabrication methodology for producing multifunctional particles. Particles are produced with optical and magnetic dopants confined to specific compartments within the particle.
