Type: article
Abstract: To reduce early relapse and the possibility of graft rejection in the highest-risk, heavily pre-treated patients receiving haplo-cord transplants, we studied the addition of 4Gy TBI to the RIC regimen of fludarabine, melphalan, and rATG. 24 pts with AML (12), ALL (6), NHL (2), CML in chronic phase 2 (2), Hodgkin’s lymphoma (1), or severe AA (1) (median age 53.9 (range 19-70) yrs; 11 females, 13 males) underwent haplo-cord SCT between May 2013 and March 2015 with fludarabine 30mg/m2 on D-7 to -3, melphalan 140mg/m2 on D-2, and 2Gy TBI on D-4 and -3.
