Abstract: In the Spanish Educational System, the Primary National Curriculum shows the importance of using Drama in Education due to its pedagogical value and interdisciplinary nature to develop, for instance, creativity, Language and Literature, physical expression or social skills. However, the almost null initial teacher training in Drama at the Public Spanish University leads to the impossibility of practising Drama at schools. However, this fact, which we consider has to be corrected, needs a set of proposals in order to highlight the training necessities to include in the oficial training plans at Universities. With this aim, we present the conclusions of the analysis of several experiences in the last years we have developed by practising Drama at schools, or training Drama to future teachers, joint to some of the main streams on Drama in Education nowadays in Europe, by working directly with some of their specialists. Our research is based on the Qualitative Metodolgy and the Paradigm of Complexity. This work summarises some of the ideas and conclusions developed by the author in her recent PhD thesis.
