Abstract: Occasionally someone says something that seems straightforward until you start thinking about it — then the implications shock you. Several years ago, Dr. Sharon Johnson, editor of The Journal of Biblical Integration in Business (The JBIB) gave me a jolt like that. At a conference session, he said that The JBIB is the only [emphasis added] academic journal in the world with a mission of integrating biblical faith with the business disciplines. The implications of that shocked me and still do. What a high calling.
