Year: 2016
Type: dissertation
Abstract: significantly higher in the multidisciplinary clinic (Mann-Whitney U = 10.5, p < .05;U = 81, p < .05;respectively).There was also a strong positive correlation between patient perception of teamwork and satisfaction (rs = 0.713, p < .05).Based on these findings, it is recommended that MS patients receive care via multidisciplinary clinics.Further research is needed to explore patient perception of provider teamwork and satisfaction with more disciplines, such as nurse practitioners, urologists and occupational therapists involved in the multidisciplinary clinic.
