Outcomes after Second Allogeneic Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation in Adults with Hematologic Malignancies

Year: 2017
Type: article
Abstract: Allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) can produce long term disease free survival for many patients with hematologic malignancies but treatment options are limited for patients that relapse post-transplant. A second HCT (HCT2) can be performed, but at the cost of significant mortality. Data on patient outcomes after a HCT2 are limited.
