Combining the Disease Risk Index (DRI) and Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation Comorbidity Index (HCT-CI) Provides a Comprehensive Prognostic Model for CD34-Selected Allogeneic HCT

Abstract: Introduction: T-cell depletion (TCD) by positive CD34+ selection correlates with reduced incidence and severity of GvHD. A national phase 3 trial (BMT CTN 1301) is currently evaluating CD34+ selection as one of three randomized treatment assignments to evaluate GvHD, RFS, and OS. As HCT-CI informs outcomes after TCD allogeneic HCT (allo HCT), we evaluated HCT-CI in conjunction with disease risk index (DRI) to validate a comprehensive prognostic model.
