Abstract: Background: Adoptive immunotherapy using virus-specific T-lymphocytes (VSTs) have been successful in restoring antiviral immunity after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). There is a limited understanding to date of the breadth of viral epitopes recognized by VST, as well as the specificities that are important for antiviral function in vivo.
