Abstract: The exhibition focusses on the ANU’s specialised interests in the study of Asian civilisations demonstrated by the University collection of art works and complemented by lenders to the exhibition who share enthusiasm for the \nwork of Southeast Asian contemporary visual artists. Making Connections: Southeast Asian Art @ ANU is an exhibition which we hope will make an important contribution to understanding the complexities of our region and highlights the value of the visual arts as a component of interdisciplinary university studies.
