Abstract: In this poster we present evidence that regulators of chromosomal cohesion in Arabidopsis display different roles during mitosis and meiosis. Reduced activity of both CTF7 and WAPL1/2 have a limited impact on the proliferation of mitotic tissues, however during male meiosis chromosomes still display defects during segregation. Development of female gametocytes is also defective.
