Abstract: and curate the Green Visions film series, which not only allowed me to discuss environmental documentaries with their directors and a great number of scientific experts but also gave me the opportunity to acquire empirical data on how such films engage diverse audiences.The RCC also supported an international workshop that provided a wonderful opportunity to discuss a range of theoretical approaches to cinematic affect and emotion with leading ecocritical film scholars whose work informs many of the chapters in this book.
