Abstract: Survey was conducted during May·June 1988 to study the seaweed distribution and resources along \nthe Kerala coast. Algal collection was made at 15 localities from intertidal and subtidal regions and totally \n35 species belonging to 28 genera and 18 families were recorded. The nature of the coastline, places of algal \noccurrence and their resources are given.
