Corrigendum: Photochemical Creation of Fluorescent Quantum Defects in Semiconducting Carbon Nanotube Hosts

Year: 2019
Type: erratum
Abstract: In this Communication, the data in Figure 1 a contains a ∼2 % λ/2 component of the excitation light that was unknowingly driving the reaction. The corrected data are provided below along with the proposed model in Figure 1 c, where E11 and E22 are changed to E22 and E33, respectively. Defect PL intensity vs wavelength of the triggering light. Each red circle represents the defect PL intensity measured after 10 minutes irradiation with the given wavelength of light in the presence of 4-iodoaniline. Note that the (6,5)-SWCNT absorbs at 345 nm, but there is no light absorption by iodobenzene (blue line). [...] c) Proposed model. This Corrigendum is agreed by all authors of the original Communication and includes contribution from Jacob Fortner to this correction as detailed in the Supporting Information that accompanies this Corrigendum.
