Abstract: This article is dedicated to discrete-continuum time-perception model and its realization in the Modern English.Identification of dynamic time perception and relatively static / discrete temporality perception is explained.Dynamic time-perception includes linear and circular time models which can be represented in a text as temperostatic and temperodynamic models.Relatively static / discrete timeperception includes chronography, chronometry, "eventivity", instantivity and frequentativity.The mechanism of conceptual models transformation into certain cognitive models through the cognitive operation of focusing is also shown.
