Abstract: The academic procrastination is a phenomenon characterized by the postponement of important academic activities and can affect the academic performance of students. Many investigations reveal that not only the intellectual factor intervenes in academic performance, there are other responsible variables, such as personality factors. \nThe objective of the study was to determine the relationship of personality factors and the level of academic procrastination in high school students of a public school in San Juan de Lurigancho, in the year 2017
