La gestión por resultados: una revisión de la literatura y sus desafíos en américa latina.
Year: 2018
Type: article
Abstract: Results-based Management (RBM) is a dominant idea in public sector reform. However, the factors that condition its development have not been sufficiently debated in Latin America. This article addresses two questions: what factors cause public organizations to adopt models and tools of RBM? To this end, a review of the specialized literature on factors of implementation and use is presented. The second question is oriented to a reflection for the region: What are the challenges for the incorporation of the RBM in Latin America? The difficulties to break with symbolic reforms and adapt them to the characteristics of the regional context are emphasized.
