Claire L'Heureux-Dubé: A Life, Constance Backhouse (Vancouver: UBC Press for the Osgoode Society for Canadian Legal History 2017) -- A Collective Review
Year: 2018
Type: preprint
Abstract: In June of 2018, a small group of University of Victoria law scholars, students, and staff — a summer reading collective — assembled in the Faculty workroom of the Fraser Building. We gathered together for an enticing purpose: to share our thoughts about Claire L’Heureux-Dube: A Life, written by University of Ottawa’s distinguished professor of law, Constance Backhouse. This review, written collaboratively, is a snapshot of the conversation that unfolded.
