Abstract: The the function as public room for communities in the districts Ponorogo, supposed to be harnessed and managed well, However the phenomenon shift the concept of alun -alun that turns and started leads as a means to collect provite because turned into a Economy center, renders slowly land, people begin to lose space expression, motion, and also actual self, need to remember that as human beings social also requires channel's that open, free to interact and socialize with residents and other communities, amidst sombongnya development that is no longer favoring them, community understanding which start slack and shifted the utilization of related the concept of public space, supposed to be together for attention in the revitalization of that spirit to berekspres, and get creative can return appears so public can develop the potential and also overcome its problems independently with the process of process that more humane and dignified.
