Abstract: This paper reports the demonstration of coherent feedback control over an exciton mode. A metal mirror in close proximity to the atomically thin semiconductor MoSe2 modifies the photonic density of states through an interferometric effect, which leads to drastic changes in the radiative coupling rate of the exciton.
