Abstract: The hyperthermostable binding scaffold, rcSso7d, has recently been studied for use in in vitro diagnostic tests but has not yet been demonstrated as a soluble reporter protein. Here, we investigated several rcSso7d protein constructs and biotin conjugation methods to link a detectable signal to the presence of a target biomarker.
