Abstract: A wide variety of tools and approaches for supporting the making of decisions under deep uncertainty have been put forward, but we lack a comparative overview. This chapter presents a taxonomy of approaches and tools for supporting decisionmaking under deep uncertainty. The taxonomy is based on a decomposition of the tools and approaches into a set of common building blocks. Analysts can use the taxonomy for designing context-specific approaches to support DMDU.
