Abstract: The negative impact of the development of large cities adds to the burden on the environment because the carrying capacity of natural resources is increasingly out of balance with the pace of demands for fulfilling life needs.Technology development and sustainable urban planning concepts, one of which is with the efforts of the local government to protect the environment by applying the green city concept, through engineering empowerment by building legal awareness of the community it is hoped that it can stimulate the public to accept and use introduced concepts and technologies.Efforts to achieve goals are constrained because they are not accompanied by awareness and compliance with the law of the community to receive and apply the elements of Green City in life on an ongoing basis.Cultural, moral, educative approaches, by carrying out deconstruction and reconstruction.
