q-Gaussian distributions. Simplifications and simulations

Abstract: We present some properties of measures (q-Gaussian) that orthogonalize the set of q-Hermite polynomials. We also present an algorithm for simulating i.i.d. sequences of random variables having q-Gaussian distribution.
