Abstract: The focus of this symposium will be on the relevance of animal cognition to human cognition. The speakers at the Symposium will present research in animal cognition and will discuss its relevance to human cognitive systems. After their presentations, the speakers and the audience will particpate in a moderated discussion of the relevance of animal cognition to human cognition and to cognitive science as a whole.
