Abstract: The magnetic field of a vortex has the shape of a disk that dies out as one increases its radial coordinate. In this work the authors develop a procedure capable of changing the internal structure of the vortex, transforming its magnetic field into a multilayered structure. The underlying mechanism does not interfere with the energy, topology and linear stability of the structure, can be used to suggest coupling between baryonic and dark matter, and may perhaps be adapted to work with vortices in other scenarios.
