Call for community review of Neurodata Without Borders: Neurophysiology (NWB:N) 2.0--a data standard forneurophysiology
Year: 2019
Type: other
Abstract: The purpose of this document is to solicit community feedback on the Neurodata Without Borders: Neurophysiology (NWB:N) 2.0, a data standard for neurophysiology, providing neuroscientists with a common standard to share, archive, use, and build common analysis tools for neurophysiology data. The document contains the INCF standards and best practices committee's review of NWB:N 2.0, and the criteria in which it was evaluated (open, FAIR, testing and implementation, governance, adoption and use, stability and support, and comparison to similar standards). For the next 60 days, we are seeking community feedback on NWB:N 2.0. About NWB:N 2.0: a data standard for neurophysiology, providing neuroscientists with a common standard to share, archive, use, and build common analysis tools for neurophysiology data. NWB:N 2.0 is designed to store a variety of neurophysiology data, including from intracellular and extracellular electrophysiology experiments, optical physiology experiments, as well as tracking and stimulus data.
