Abstract: Based on the results of a national survey on the profession of infant educators, this article will examine how infant educators deal with the question of religion in the exercise of their profession. It will show in particular how the pervasion of religious practices in childcare and educational facilities for young children is handled by educators, as well as reservations expressed by these same educators when identity-based requests come from within the profession itself.
