Abstract: In this issue of Cancer Cytopathology, Gargano et al. describe their experience using the Milan System for Reporting Salivary Gland Cytopathology for the diagnosis and grading of a subset of salivary gland tumors with basaloid features. Among salivary gland tumors, this subset of basaloid tumors is considered by many to be the most problematic to classify cytologically.
