Analyze in Depth Health Care Business Process and Key Performance Indicators using Process Mining

Abstract: Process mining is applied in literature to many case studies in various domains. It represents an explorative procedure, very helpful to the domain experts for analyzing data from multiple perspectives. In this paper, we concentrate on extracting knowledge from event logs related to a health care process that is recorded by a Business Process Management System and mining Key Performance Indicators content associated to process instances data. Thus, this work contributes to the evaluation and the enhancement of the healthcare process using Process mining tool.
