Pharmacological interventions for the treatment of psychological distress in patients with asthma: a systematic review and meta-analysis

Abstract: There was great heterogeneity between studies and overall poor methodological quality providing insufficient evidence to make recommendations for or against the use of pharmacotherapy in asthma patients with psychological distress. Further confirmatory trials are warranted to make recommendations for clinical practice.
