Abstract: New targeted therapies to inhibit fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR) represent a promising treatment option for patients with metastatic urothelial carcinoma (mUC). Despite significant advances, the optimal combination of drug, disease, genetic alteration, and screening test that together lead to maximal efficacy of FGFR inhibition for patients with mUC remains to be determined.
