Abstract: This paper introduces an algorithm for computing atoms and molecules with a pair of electrons for quantum computers. The authors apply the benchmark to 5- and 15-qubit IBM quantum computers, predicting the dissociation of hydrogen gas H${}_{2}$ and interstellar H${}_{3}^{+}$.
